IMG_3484Okay, so I’m pushing my luck with the song titles but, the tea is a good sign. Walkies, blood pressure down to normal, epidural out and main incision dressed. You name it we did it, baby, that gal was cooking with gas today. Hair-wash, a walk down the corridor, and the green light to move out of intensive care tomorrow. She even voted. Lots of snoozing too, I hasten to add but lots of positives today. The Wonder Woman dressing gown ( a gift from the Queen’s ladies) will be revealed in all its glory when Brenda next goes walkabout.

  1. Put the melody of the 1987 hit “Pump up the Volume” by the British band MARRS in your head. And don’t forget to “put the needle on the record” and sing: “Pump up the blood volume, pump up the blood volume, pump up the blood volume so Brenda can dance, dance, dance!!!
    We are all so over the moon over on this side of the Atlantic to hear/see your progress. Like an Olympic athlete, the audience sees the public feats not the daily grind. Clearly you are hard at work behind the scenes as is caring & competent Team Britain which Team Canada (not hockey) thanks it for as we cannot be hands-on for the moment. Three cheers for Brenda and Team Britain!

  7. Fabulous news and so delighted to see B smiling. Love the dressing gown and the WW motif; it also made me think of the robes that boxers wear when entering the ring.
