The Blog stats show that there have been 1,115 visitors to the site who have viewed it 7,100 times. The outpouring of love and positive thoughts have given Brenda a tremendous boost. The Blog has kept everyone informed and has saved me from having to recount the same details over and over again. Unwittingly, it also created a goal for Brenda, each day’s news creating a benchmark for her to better. As a result, she was told today that she can come home on Wednesday – exactly two weeks since her ten hour operation. It is brilliant news.

Wonderful Mark. Each post is a blessing for us. Brenda has always inspired those around her through her panzer-tank ability to rise above and “just keep swimming” like Dory – so there’s no news there! But you’re giving way more than your getting – you’ve creating a community who will never meet in the flesh but who are united through love of your wonderful wife and admiration of your fantastic ‘chipper-bility” and unquestioning loyalty. Thank you so much for letting us in to share your beautiful family story while others would pull down the blinds. You allow each of us to feel relieved that good is happening, recovery is sparkly step by step forwards and that our troubles and woes can be packed up and put out with the trash. Life is beautiful.
