Today Brenda’s ashes were laid to rest in Brompton Cemetery in central London. She was buried with many old friends (some of which are shown here) a small lobster and some Nova Scotian beach.
Her headstone had been in place for a while but, it has been tricky to synchronise diaries with term dates and work commitments for the interment.
Brompton Cemetery is a Royal Park of tranquil natural beauty whilst also being a busy and bustling thoroughfare. I think she would have approved.
There is a nice cafe and I urge as many of you as possible to go and pay her a visit.
A corner of some foreign field that will forever be Nova Scotian.

How perfect for Brenda. Some peace and bustle was what she brought to our work together. I will visit, wearing our matching sisterhood hoodies ❤️

How lovely to know that Brenda’s ashes have been laid to rest very close to where one of my daughters lives and in the beautiful setting of Brompton Cemetery. I will look forward to visiting her headstone and paying homage to a wonderful person who I know is so dearly missed. Wishing you all peace in your hearts.
